We all know research is painstakingly a long process, which is never ending. The SEO (search engine optimization) and CRO (conversion rate optimization) industry is changed constantly and we have to be on top of things. Most of us have go-to websites where we read articles and trends that are taking place. The best of us check out actual:

  • Case studies
  • A/B split testing experiments
  • eBooks written by people that influence our industry
  • Watch and participate in webinars or events

Over the past year and half I’ve pretty much discovered almost all the industry leaders and have studied their work (to apply to my own of course). I keep no secrets as you may have seen from my previous posts. I will share them with you. Take it in stride and go through everything. I am sure you won’t regret it.

Conversion Rate Experts.com is one of my favorite sites to visit often for case studies and blog posts. I don’t think you can get any better then these guys. They have an amazing list of case studies from big clients. And the best part is they publish it. Sharing information is power folks. Something I’ve learned over the past few years.

Peep Laja runs ConversionXL and I have to admit, he has truly inspired me to really dig into information architecture and conversion rate optimization. Every blog post is pretty much gold by this guy. Another industry leader that I think should definitely be on your radar. You should check out ConversionXL.com and see what he has to say in his blog. You should also download his eBook for increasing your conversion rates.

Quick Sprout

Quick Sprout is another site that is a favorite of mine for conversion and marketing in general. Neil Patel is another industry leader with blogs that are actually fun to read. There is absolute transparency with what he writes and you get the best of everything in one place. For example, he wrote this article on “10 Tools For The Modern Marketer” that came really handy for me. I am sure you can pick up a thing or two from Neil.

Unbounce

Unbounce is an amazing site with information that will make you money. Yes, these guys are worth every penny. Why pay thousands of dollars to a designer that knows “nothing” about online marketing and get disappointed in the end? Well, Unbounce.com has amazing landing pages for any business to use and I love checking them out often through their blog and Twitter account.

Check out their blog and tell me you didn’t learn something. They have many blog posts that are awesome but this one is my favorite: “52 Ways To Be A Conversion Badass”.
